Tofu was found by one of our wonderful fosters around the time of Hurricane Ike. She was so sweet and friendly, we were sure she had to be someone's kitty. We listed her as found with official animal control (something you should always do when finding a kitty!) and posted ads, but no one came for her. When we had her spayed, she tested positive for both FELV and FIV. We were fortunate to find a wonderful home for her through our friends on the Feline Leukemia Mailing List
We wish Tofu a long, happy and healthy life with new mom Emily!
Margarine
Margarine (now Margarita) was lucky enough to be saved from the local high kill pound. Here's what her adoptive mom has to say:
I am sooo lucky, Margarita is the cutest cat, and you talk about personality, she has as much personaltiy as her tail is long and that's pretty long. Its been a long time since I have really gotten myself attached to another Cat since 1986, but if it was going to take a long time, she was worth the wait. but she is also a very good and well mannered cat also which really helps when you live in an apartment. Tell her previous foster mom (I never see her) shes doing great, thanks for all your great work I know it takes someone with a lot of compassion and dedication and girl you have it!! thanks again
