Who we are: We are an animal rescue in Austin, Texas, dedicated to ending the euthanization of adoptable animals in the city, state, and nation.

What we do: We rescue cats, particularly "high-risk" cats, such as young kittens, elderly cats, and special needs cats, from various high-kill shelters in the Central Texas area.  Before we consider them adoptable, they undergo thorough vetting, including:

* FIV/FeLV testing
* age-appropriate vaccinations
* all cats leaving Rescuties' care are spayed/neutered and microchipped
